Japanese citizen makes donation to youth mental health in Burlington

A Japanese citizen has continued his tradition of giving money to a cause within his Canadian twin city. Philanthropist Taroo Enomoto, from Burlington’s twin city, Itabashi, Japan, has donated 450,000 yen (about $4,750 Canadian) to the Reach Out Centre for Kids (ROCK).


The 90-year-old has donated close to $40,000 to Burlington the past 28 years, including paying for rhododendrons for the Paletta Lakefront Mansion.
